Freddie Freeman Hits 1st Big League HR; Vikings off to (4-1) start.

Rookie 1B Freddie Freeman hit his 1st career HR tonight.

Kershaw K's 10 for first win of season.

Clayton Kershaw racked up an impressive total of 10 strikeouts at Dodger
Stadium where the Simi Valley Vikings beat the Fremont Fremen by the score of
5 to 1.
 
Kershaw(1-1) pitched well for Simi Valley in their victory.  He went 6 and 2/3
innings and surrended up 4 hits and no walks lowering his ERA from 1.93 to
1.69.  Simi Valley ended up with 11 hits for the game while Fremont had 5.
 
Trevor Cahill(0-1) was the loser.  Kershaw was pleased with his performance.
He noted, 'I had good zip on my pitches.  Just as important, my location was
right on.  The fans really got into the game too - that always helps me.
Now, if I can only do that again in my next outing.'
