The Simi Valley Vikings edged the Fremont Fremen in 14 innings at The Roost by
the score of 3 to 2.
The score was tied at 1 after nine. Simi Valley came out the victor in the
14th inning. Adrian Beltre banged out a single. Yadier Molina stepped into
the batter's box and he reached on an error. Shane Victorino then reached on
an error. Troy Tulowitzki stepped in and he grounded into a double play.
Freddie Freeman stepped into the box and was walked intentionally to load the
bases. Jeff Francoeur contributed to the rally and drew a walk. Simi Valley
had a total of 12 hits for the game.
Mike Dunn(1-0) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Frank
Francisco(0-1) was given the loss in relief. He was a hard-luck loser as hedid not allow an earned run in his 1 inning of work.
