Dontrelle Willis threw a 3 hit shutout and Jeff Francoeur rocketed 2 homeruns
and had 3 RBI at Miller Park as the Simi Valley Vikings belted the Brew City
Warriors by the count of 15 to 0.
 
Francoeur provided much of the offense. He lofted a solo-blast 'downtown' in
the 3rd inning, smashed a solo-shot out of the park in the 6th inning and
stroked a one-base hit which plated a run in the 8th inning.  Simi Valley
provided plenty of action in the 1st inning scoring 2 runs, the 2nd inning
plating 2 runs, the 3rd inning tallying 2 runs, the 5th inning tallying 2
runs, the 6th inning plating 2 runs and the 7th inning which saw them score 2
runs on 3 hits.  The Simi Valley offense was as consistent as it was
powerful.  They scored in every inning, making a joke of the Brew City
pitching.  
 
Willis(1-0) was credited with the shutout. The loss was charged to Brad
Hand(0-2).  He surrended 4 homeruns in his 4 innings.
